About News Alerts: You are able to select the News Alerts you wish to receive from globeinvestorgold.com by keyword and newswire. You may also select to receive Before the Bell, Noon Markets and/or After the Bell market updates.
All alerts will be sent to your primary e-mail address by default. To add or change the e-mail address to which the alerts are delivered, please click on Change Email info. You may select to input up to three alternate e-mail addresses.
To set up your News Alerts on globeinvestorgold.com please follow these steps:
- To select to receive a keyword alert please enter the desired keyword(s). You may choose to enter a multiple keyword search by using the words and/or between keywords.
- Please choose to receive the News Alert from the desired News provider by checking the box beside the appropriate News provider. If you wish to stop receiving alerts from a specific news provider, remove the check from the box beside the appropriate news provider name.
- Click on Save Alert Settings. You will receive a confirmation that the alert settings have been saved successfully.
- To select to receive market updates please check the box beside the desired update (Before the Bell, Noon Markets and/or After the Bell). To stop receiving an alert(s) for a specific market update, please remove the check from the box beside the appropriate news provider name.
- Click on Save Alert Settings. You will receive a confirmation that the alert settings have been saved successfully.
About the Alerts:
Keyword- you may create up to 5 keyword alerts. You may enter a multiple keyword search using the words and/or. Choose to receive alerts from The Globe and Mail, Dow Jones Business Wire, US Press Releases and/or Canadian Press Releases. Keyword alerts occur throughout the day when a story matching your keyword(s) criteria arrives.
Market Updates- you may select to receive any of the 3 Breaking News alerts from The Globe and Mail (Morning Note, Afternoon Markets or After the Bell). These alerts include headline/blurb/summary and the top 5 Breaking News business news headlines.
