Take a 14-day free trial of GlobeinvestorGOLD and experience how it can help you improve your portfolio returns. To get started, you need to provide us with a few details such as your desired user name and password, the billing plan of your choice, and your credit card information. At any time during the two-week period you may cancel your trial and you will not be billed (except as noted below for real time subscription plans). If you do not cancel before the two weeks are up we will automatically bill your credit card.
A few notes about registering for the trial:
- If you already have a Globe and Mail userID, you can use it for GlobeinvestorGOLD. There is no need to request a new one.
- If you have a Globeinvestor.com userID and you have one or more portfolios there, make sure to specify it for GlobeinvestorGOLD. That way your portfolios will be available on the Gold site and you can enjoy the additional portfolio features available.
- Should you decide not to subscribe to the service, your portfolios will still be available on our free Globeinvestor.com site after the trial ends, where you will be able to use the Standard portfolio report but not the other portfolio reports.
- During registration we ask for your e-mail address so that we can contact you with updates and other useful information about the site. It is also required to take advantage of our e-mail alert service. We commit to never passing your e-mail address to a 3rd party.
- It is sometimes difficult to choose a userID that is not already taken. For example, ‘jimbo’ is probably already taken but ‘jimbo449’ is probably available.
- When you register for the trial, choose one of the subscription plans shown below. At any point in time you can switch to another plan once your trial is over.

- The above service fees do not include real time exchange fees.
- You can choose a real time quote plan during your free trial. The service fee above will be waived for the two week trial period. However, due to exchange fee restrictions, you will have to pay exchange fees for the exchanges you select to view in real time during your trial. Exchange fees operate on a calendar month basis. If you subscribe near the end of a month you will have to pay the applicable exchange fees for the entire month.
- We bill you for exchange fees and pass them along to the appropriate exchanges.
